World Bank Graduate Scholarship Joint Japan The Joint Japan / World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ / WBGSP) is a program aimed at supporting men and women from developing countries who wish to pursue postgraduate degrees in the field of development.

JJ / WBGSP offers learning opportunities for about 26 participating programs at universities in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania and Japan in key development areas, including economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management.

 World Bank Graduate Scholarship 2022  /Joint Japan  Eligibility criteria

To be considered for the Joint Japan / World Bank Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must be citizens of a developing country that is a member of the World Bank and should not be a dual citizen of a developed country.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent obtained at least 3 years prior to the application deadline.
Applicants must have 3 years or more of the latest development-related information after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
You should be in good health
Applicants must be granted unconditional approval to enroll in the next academic year in at least one JJ / WBGSP Preferred or Partner Master’s Degree Programs.
Benefits of Scholarship

World Bank Graduate Scholarship Joint Japan benefits:

An economic class flight between your home country and the university in charge at the beginning of your study program and immediately following the end of the study period. In addition to the two-way air travel, experts will receive a travel allowance of US $ 500 per trip;
A study of your degree program and the cost of basic medical insurance received by the university.
While on campus during study time, a monthly subsistence allowance to cover all living expenses (accommodation, food, etc., including books). The amount of the grant varies depending on the host country.

How to apply: Applicants interested in the Joint Japan / World Bank Graduate Scholarship for Developing Countries should complete the 2022 Online Application Form before or after the application deadline.
