ESPN Internship International Production Intern will work with the ESPN China team to support ESPN’s content creation for our Chinese sports fans for the students, and to service ESPN’s partnership with Ten cent for the students, one of the biggest digital companies in the world for the students so come and get the experience form the ESPN Internship.

Responsibilities in the ESPN Internship:

• Assists in the day-to-day operation of production content and logistics for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Works in conjunction with operations department to assist with logistics for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Organizes and distributes show production elements and materials for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Supports staff, Talent, Producers, Associate Producers, and Production Assistants on the systematic processes of assigned sport/show unit for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Works with upper management on scheduling of assigned personnel, regarding event and show assignments, tracks personnel overtime and vacation time for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Plans, requests and allocates production facility needs of assigned sports/shows for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Operates within the context of defined production goals and objectives for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Decisions are guided by established corporate policies and production operational policies for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Responsible for dealing with time-sensitive materials and decisions for the ESPN Internships 2021
• During production peak times, remains accessible and is often required to work non- traditional days/hours
• Domestic traveling for productions may be required for the ESPN Internships 2021

Basic Qualifications for the ESPN Internship:

• Speak, read and write bilingual capabilities in Mandarin Chinese and English for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Passion for the NBA, and strong knowledge of other major US and global sports for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Unparalleled knowledge of the China sports market and Chinese sports fans for the ESPN Internship s2021
• Fluency with social media platforms in both US and China for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Great work ethics, willingness to learn new skills, and detail oriented with strong organizational skills for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Strong collaborator with others and a clear communicator in a virtual environment via texts, phones call, emails, and conference calls for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Familiarity with sports media landscape, including knowledge of business trends and technologies for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a professional role, organization or activity for the ESPN Internships 2021

Preferred Qualifications for the ESPN Internship:

• Strong capability to communicate in a virtual environment in both Mandarin Chinese and English for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Ability to translate an NBA video segment from English to simplified Chinese for the ESPN Internship 2021
• Non-linear editing skill using software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Knowledge to operate a presume camera or DSLR to shoot videos for the ESPN Internships 2021
• Capability to publish text and video content on Chinese social media platforms such as We Ibo for the ESPN Internship 2021

Required Education for ESPN Internship

• Enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited college/university in the semester prior to the internship or graduated within the past 18 months for the students for the ESPN Internship 2021.

Preferred Education for ESPN Internship

Internship Eligibility:

• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR graduated within the past 18 months are eligible for  the ESPN Internships 2021
• Must be at least 18 years of age are eligible for  the ESPN Internships 2021
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internships or program are eligible for  the ESPN Internships 2021
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization are eligible for  the ESPN Internships 2021

Program Dates:
The approximate dates are June 7 – December 13, 2021 for  the ESPN Internships 2021. Interns will work 40 hours per week and must be fully available throughout for  the ESPN Internships 2021

Work Environment:
This is a remote internship for the student. The internship requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated work space for the ESPN Internships.
