Cheatham White Scholarship 2024 Eligibility

The candidates who want to qualify for the scholarship have to follow the following eligibility criteria.

Application for Admissions: In order to enroll in North Carolina A&T’s baccalaureate program, you must first apply for admission as a first-year freshman for the fall semester.
App for Honors College: Send in an application to the Honors College, along with a recommendation from the school or from yourself.
Citizenship Status: Either a citizen or a permanent resident of the United States is required.
High School Graduation: In order to be admitted to a college, you must enroll in and graduate from high school during the spring semester.
Academic Achievement: Candidates must keep their weighted cumulative GPA at least 4.00.
Standardized Test Scores: 1280 on the SAT or 28 on the ACT is the minimum required academic score for candidates (test scores are optional).
Character and Leadership: Students need to demonstrate a remarkable ability to distinguish between character and leadership.
Engagement in Extracurricular Activities: Engage in extracurricular activities to the fullest.
Service Commitment: Showcase a resolute commitment to providing services to society.

How to Apply for the Cheatham White Scholarship 2024

The students who will be called for the scholarship will be chosen by the high school administrator (principal, vice-principal, or guidance counselor).
Following the students’ selection for the scholarship, they must proceed to the next stage, which is the submission of the scholarship application.
By November 1st, the chosen applicants will be notified via phone.
The nominations for the academic year 2024–2025 are now open to the candidates. The scholarship is accepting applications now.
If you are awarded the scholarship following the announcement of nomination, you will be qualified for funding for a four-year degree program.
Students are required to ensure that their applications are submitted complete and that all required supporting documentation is attached.

The nomination form deadline is November 1, 2023.
The deadline for Cheatham-White application materials is December 1, 2023.

Finalist interviews and Eagle Scholars Day are scheduled for February 2024 (Date TBD).
Every applicant will receive notification of their final status on March 1, 2024.
