A*STAR Scholarship Computing And Information Science in Singapore
Applications are currently being accepted for the A*STAR Scholarship Program in Computing and Information Science for the international students. The ACIS Scholarship aims to attract top talent to study PhD in Computing and Information Science (CIS) at top educational institutions in Singapore so all the candidates must apply here before the deadline.
ACIS Scholars will have invaluable opportunities to research real-world problems across the spectrum of computer science, for advanced applications for the students who are wanted to join the A*STAR Scholarship Program. Scholars will work hand-in-hand with autonomous universities for the students, government agencies and top global companies that collaborate with A*STAR Scholarship so candidates must apply here before the deadline.
Upon graduation, non-Singapore nationals will have a 3-year commitment to serve in Singapore-based companies^ with no commitment to any particular organization for the students in the A*STAR Scholarship Program.

A*STAR Scholarship Program details
Host Institution: Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) or Singapore Management University (SMU), all in Singapore for the students who are wanted to study here in this university
Field of study: Computing and information science.
Number of honors: Not specified.
Duration: Up to four years.
Target Group: Open to Singaporeans and other nationals who intend to acquire Singapore citizenship for this wonderful scholarship.

Benefits of the A*STAR Scholarship in Computing and Information Science
A*STAR Scholarship is fully funded and successful applicants will receive the following benefits for up to four years for the students:
Full tuition
Monthly subsistence allowance and CPF contribution (if applicable) based on the prevailing employer contribution rate for the students in the A*STAR Scholarship Program

Eligibility for A*STAR Scholarship in Computing and Information Science
The A*STAR Scholarship Computing and Information Science Scholarship welcomes applications from candidates with the following status for the students in the A*STAR Scholarship Program:
Singaporeans and other nationals are eligible to apply
- NTU School of Computer Science and Engineering
- NUS School of Computing
- SMU School of Information Systems
- A pillar of SUTD information systems technology and design
Obtain at least a 2nd Upper Class Honors degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline for the A*STAR Scholarship Program. They have a strong interest in pursuing CIS research careers in industrial R&D laboratories, technology companies, spin-off companies, and/or academia for the students.

Application instructions
Those who would like to apply for this government scholarship for the students
- Applicants should simultaneously apply for PhD admission to their intended university for the students.
- Applicants may submit GRE scores (if available) to be included in the overall evaluation of their scholarship application for the students.
- The application cycle is in line with university admissions in August or January of each year as outlined below so check it carefully.
