Portal for Peace Scholarship Awards 2023 | The portal for Peace Scholarship Awards 2023 is open to all African Nova Scotia school graduates for the students.

This grant will help you to get into a good college program for the students. The Prep Academy and the Black Educators Association partnered to develop an online scholarships directory for the students in the Portal for Peace Scholarship.

The Online Scholarship Directory gives students, families and parents access to a digital list of scholarships which may assist students in their college and university education so come and join this as soon as possible.

African Nova Scotian students who are devoted to improving their communities and to a peaceful society are given the 2022 PEACE Scholarship Award for the eligible candidates in the Portal for Peace Scholarship .

This award was made possible by a collaboration between The PREP Academy and The Peace Tournament for the students in the Portal for Peace Scholarship 2022.

A community-based nonprofit organization called The PREP Academy motivates and prepares African Nova Scotian kids for college and graduate school for the students in the Portal for Peace Scholarship 2022.

Regarding PREP Academy

A community-based nonprofit organization called The PREP Academy motivates and prepares African Nova Scotian kids for college and graduate school so all the candidates must apply here in the Portal for Peace Scholarship 2022.

We assist students in navigating systems and resources for the students. Our programs give students opportunities, experiences, and exposure that are informed by their cultural backgrounds, giving them the skills they need to succeed and forge their own paths in life for the students in the Portal for Peace Scholarship 2022.

Students have the chance to see themselves represented by African Nova Scotian facilitators and role models in positions of positive impact for the students in the Portal for Peace Scholarship 2022.

Aim and Benefits of PREP Academy Peace Scholarship Award

  • The Peace Scholarship Award will select and award two youth with a $1,500 scholarship for the students.
  • The scholarship can be used for tuition, registration fees, books, school supplies and other fees to help you be successful in college or university for the students.

Requirements for PREP Academy Peace Scholarship Award Qualification

  • A grade 12 students entering college or university in September 2022 for the Portal for Peace Scholarship
  • This scholarship is open to any program in any field of study for the Portal for Peace Scholarship
  • Student must identify as African Nova Scotian and have family ties to historic African Nova Scotian communities for the Portal for Peace Scholarship
  • Students must contribute to a peaceful society and be committed to enhancing our communities  for the Portal for Peace Scholarship

Interview date, Process and Venue for PREP Academy Peace Scholarship Award

  • Scholarship award winners will be selected and notified by Tuesday, August 16th 2022 via email.
  • Award winners will be offered complimentary tickets to attend The Peace Tournament’s championship game at 3pm on Sunday, August 21st at Saint Mary’s University for the scholarship award presentation for the students in the Portal for Peace Scholarship.
