Truman Scholarship Program 2024 For International Students

Scholars are required to work in public service for 3 of the 7 years following completion of a foundation-funded graduate degree program as a condition of receiving funding so eligible students can apply as soon as possible.

To access the online application for the scholarship, students must receive login credentials from the Illinois faculty representative firstly, David SC Hughes owner. To receive an application from the program management, please email him the following information for the Truman scholarship:

1. Name of the student
2. The preferred email address of the student
3. Anticipated graduation date of the student
4. GPA of the student
5. The permanent address of the student
6. UIN (University Identification Number) of the student

After applying online for the scholarship, send an email to our office with a few potential meeting times no earlier than 2 business days after your submission to receive feedback about the scholarship. We are willing to work with students through numerous revisions for the betterment and those students who are eligible for the scholarship.

A complete Truman application for the scholarship, including 3 letters of recommendation of the students is given before the interview of the candidate and must be submitted to us to be considered for the University of Illinois endorsement for the scholarship in the Truman program(a requirement to move forward in the competition).

We will schedule interviews of short-listed candidates for the scholarship in the program to be conducted within a few weeks before the deadline for the application time for the eligible students for this scholarship in 2024-25. Based on your submittal records of the education field, including grade reports that we will provide to the students for the betterment of their Truman scholarship, and an interview of the student, the committee will determine your endorsement is required for the scholarship.

Required Information Includes For Truman scholarship:

1. A signed Scholarship Waiver (either scanned or in hardcopy) is required for the scholarship.
2. Truman Letter of Recommendation Advice (letters should address the range of criteria requested for a Truman Scholarship for the eligible students) is required for the scholarship in the year 2024. You need to provide each referee of your education and your complete information with the appropriate downloaded reference form (sample letters) from the Sample Application Forms section of the Truman website required for the scholarship. Letters should be sent as attachments directly to us for the scholarship in the year 2024 at topscholars@illinois.edu is required for the scholarship.
3. A complete Scholarship application including a policy proposal is required for the scholarship.
