Government of Canada Scholarships 2022 At least 50 bursaries will be awarded at this year’s Canadian Government Scholarship for Study in Canada 2022-23, with an expected annual growth rate. Interested parties are now required to apply for a place at a tertiary institution of Canada of their choice, who will then apply for a scholarship.
Study in Canada Scholarships provide students from post-secondary institutions located in countries / countries that are eligible for short-term study or research opportunities in Canadian post-secondary colleges, graduate and graduate levels.

Qualification Terms Government of Canada Scholarships 2022
Candidates must be:
citizens of the following countries / territories:
Asia: Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan;
Europe: Turkey, Ukraine;
Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia;
Sub-Saharan Africa: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda; and
who is registered as a full-time student at an appropriate tertiary institution / field and pays tuition fees at that institution at the time of application and full-time exchange.
Canadian post-secondary institutions must:
- be a Designated Learning Institution (DLI);
- have a valid student exchange agreement with a student student home that removes tuition fees for bursary recipients. For college research applications and undergraduate students without a contract, a letter issued by the Canadian international office or equivalent will be accepted; and
- notify both the candidate and their local institution of any funds required, in exceptional cases, which cannot be withdrawn, before applying for a bursary on behalf of the candidate.

Scholarship Value and Benefits
Scholarships are estimated at CAD 10,200 or CAD 12,700 depending on the study period and the funds should be used:
Visa or tuition fee / work permit;
airline recipient airline fees only on a direct and economical route;
health insurance;
accommodation costs, such as accommodation, utilities and food;
land transport, including public transportation; and
books and materials required for research or research of the recipient, in addition to computers and other equipment.
Application procedures, roles and responsibilities
Canadian Institutions:
apply on behalf of those who qualify;
promote this opportunity to learn from their expertise with staff, as well as to partner with institutions from relevant countries / regions;
the level of applications based on the priorities of the institution;
identify one person who is responsible for the submission of applications;
sign the Donation Agreement with DFATD and disburse tuition fees to the graduates; and
submit quality and quantity reports during the study period.

Candidates interested in this scholarship program should:
- inform their interest in the home institution;
- find out if any institutional collaboration exists or an exchange agreement between their home institution and the Canadian institution;
- request information from their local institution regarding the application process and selection criteria applicable to the Canadian Partner Center; and
ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements. - Post-secondary institutions from eligible countries / areas should:
liaising with partner institutions in Canada to verify or evaluate institutional collaboration and student exchange agreements;
promote this opportunity to learn about their international offices;
identify candidates who meet the eligibility and admission requirements of the Canadian Partnership Center;
to provide supporting documentation of candidates at the Canadian Partnership Center, which is responsible for  scholarship applications; and
advising selected people to receive additional language training and cultural integration skills before leaving.
