Eligibility Criteria for Chevening Scholarship

Chevening Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria for the students:

• Required Language: English is required for the Chevening 2022 for students
• Eligible Countries: The scholarships are targeted to citizens of Chevening-eligible countries for the students.  The full list of countries eligible for Chevening scholarships can be found on the official website for the students.
• You must return to your country of citizenship for at least two years after your scholarship has ended so that you will able to join Chevening 2022 program for students.
• Have at least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience is required for the Chevening Scholarship program 2022.
• Apply for UK university courses and offer from one of these choices by 14 July 2022 for the students so that he or she apply for the Chevening Scholarship program 2022.

You are not eligible for a Chevening Scholarship if:

• Have British or dual British citizenship (unless you are a citizen of a British Overseas Territory or hold BN(O) and are applying from Hong Kong) are not eligible for the Scholarship 2022 in the chevening university.
